We’ve taken a few important steps forward over the last two years, and are today one of Skanem’s chosen sites into product decoration and identification to European customers.
The former SE-Globus GmbH label plant which now is Skanem Willich GmbH was two years ago just a letter press printing plant. There were 8 UV-letter presses 250 mm wide with up to 8 printing stations, and one UV-flexo 8 color press 410 mm wide. 70 % of the machines were running three shift operation, all others 2 shift.

Production
We have a flexible machine park of 6 printing machines running in 2 and 3 shifts. We have an annual production of 12 000 orders covering more then 14.000.000 m2 material. Our capacity in all of our printing techniques like UV-Flexo and Combi - UV-Flexo/Silk screen/Foiling makes us able to produce a wide range of products.
Technical upgrades: We have installed 4 new 8/9 colour UV-Flexo printing machines in the 3 last years and in our slitting and rewinding hall we have upgrated equipment with e.g. "no missing label" system. In 2003 we invested in latest equipment for inhouse production of digital plates.
