Standardised artwork systems and a move towards CTP:

CTP (Computer To Plate) enhances quality and optimises workflows. The system also helps our customers realise their brand concepts on pack quickly and efficiently by reducing origination lead time. We also strive to optimise our systems to simplify integration with involved parties throughout the proofing process.

Constant focus on quality:

The ISO 9000 standards serves as a standard platform across the entire Group, but in addition to this, most sites have also been through extensive customer approval processes and audits, which are held on a regular basis on sites. Working with large customers means we have to meet the strictest quality standards at all times. The Group is also seeing a move towards Automatic Integrated Video Inspection Systems.

We have a Business Continuity Plan in place:

We have an extensive continuity plan in place across the Group. This plan is a service guarantee to our customers, a reassurance that we will deliver on time, no matter what. It is a standardised plan using the same language for all our sites so all have the same understanding of what is required in the event of an emergency or business interruption. All Skanem sites can easily get access to information on presses as well as capacity and technologies available in the Group, in case back-up is required.
