Skanem Bangkok had its official opening 20th June 2007 with representatives from all over Southeast Asia. The factory is Skanem's first establishment in Asia and production started July 2007.

The 4,200 square metre factory on a 13,000 sq metre site is located at Amata Nakorn, 55km south of Bangkok and 30 minutes from the Suvarnabhumi Airport.
