More freedom and flexibility. Better processes with more control and efficiencies. These are just a few of the benefits Skanem Hobro can offer their customers by using the online proofing system WebProof. Managing Director Bent Hûbertz says: ‘Webproof gives everyone involved in the project a total overview of projects, which means more control and less mistakes throughout the proofing process.'

A virtual world
Webproof is an Internet based approval and document management system. A virtual workflow automates all the graphic processes which usually is quite time consuming and costly. The only requirement for using the system is Internet access, and Webproof is set up in such a way that customers only need to be able to use a handful of commands to be able to use the system. The system allows all involved in projects to see the exact progress of the project at any time, check proofs and add corrections.
Webproof automates an email, or SMS if required, to inform users of updates, meaning there is no need to constantly log on to check if there has been any updates or corrections made on a particular label. This means more freedom for everyone involved as well as more control and transparency throughout the approval process. By logging on to an online system, the need for massive amounts of emails going back and forth is also eliminated. All history on each of the projects is saved and automatically updated to newer versions, and can be accessed at any time.
Better customer service
Skanem Hobro has today over 10 of their customers logged on to this system, amongst them Tanaco Danmark A/S. The plan is to offer Webproof to all of their major customers and thereby offer even better customer service. So far, customers as well as Skanem employees, have been very positive to Webproof. In particular, Tanaco, has shown great enthusiasm for the system and found the system beneficial for their business. Tanaco’s Marketing Coordinator, Lone Lange says: ‘The system is smart as well as easy to use and it enables us to work more efficiently with our approval processes. It is very useful for us that everyone involved in the project can get access to the updates at any time, whenever it suits them.’
Tanaco is a Danish, privately owned company who operates as a distributor of products for pest- and weed control. Their products are distributed in supermarkets, hardware stores, garden centres, feedstuff dealers, drugstores and pharmacies throughout all of Scandinavia. New products are regularly introduced as well as layout regularly changed on products. Skanem Hobro has been producing a variety of labels for them the last four years and Tanaco praises Skanem Hobro for their high quality labels. To date Tanaco has 12-14 different labels incorporated in the Webproof system, and with the great feedback so far, Lone Lange assures Skanem Hobro more will follow!
