Skanem sustainable

For customers with active environmental priorities or plans, Skanem has a range of offerings based on materials from proven sustainable sources.

Where necessary, certification can be provided proving their use.

Sustainable Papers:
Include standard white papers based on pulps from managed forests. FSC or PEFC certification can be provided including Chain of Custody documentation of their use in the value chain.
Sustainable Films:
Include PLA (Poly Lactic Acid) based films produced from cornstarch and Natureflex, a cellulose derivative. Both are wholly compostable and in combination with compostable adhesives meet EU legislation.
